Digital news editor, reporter and breaking news writer

Speaking about my reporting in a WRC-TV segment

I’m a digital news editor, reporter and breaking news writer skilled at quickly identifying and telling stories that resonate with audiences. I collaborate across digital and broadcast teams to produce high-quality, high-engagement stories fast.

I’ve covered local, national and international news in the field and from multiplatform newsrooms since 2010. I spot great stories and write standout headlines, push alerts and newsletters. I refocus narratives, spot new angles and keep a close eye on accuracy, fairness and style.

I’ve managed more than 40 interns and enjoy spotting and cultivating talent.

I came up as a New York City street reporter and love getting to break a story and tell it from the ground up. Over the years, I’ve reported from the European Union in Brussels, the Olympic village in Pyeongchang, South Korea, and the jail on Rikers Island.

My goals include growing as a reporter, writer, editor and manager, and working on more stories with impact.
